The Boise Highlanders are a bagpipe band in Idaho that plays at many events, including parades, festivals, and other celebrations. The band is made up of pipers, drummers, and dancers.
History:
- The Boise Highlanders was founded in 1961
- It is one of the oldest bagpipe bands in the northwest United States
- It is the largest bagpipe band in Idaho
Members:
- The band is made up of volunteers of all ages, from beginners to award-winning competitors
- The band members wear Davidson tartan, while dancers can wear their own tartan

- Robbie Burns Night in January
- St. Patrick's Day in March
- Downtown Boise 4th of July Parade
- The Treasure Valley Highland Games in Boise
- The Trailing of the Sheep festival in the Wood River Valley in October
